RE: small gas engine
There are even smaller, maybe you can check the offers and also the news at
www.webra-austria.at
I believe they have 10cc, then 15cc, and up, etc.

RE: small gas engine
I need to clarify my question. It is GASOLINE I am looking for. Not glow plug engines. I have an entire drawer of glow engines. I want to convvert my .90 to 1.08 glow engines to gasoline with a spark plug.

RE: small gas engine
I picked up a small 15.9cc (0.97 cu.in) toro complete engine a while back. It has great compression. It looks like a scalled down 25.4cc toro. The bore & stroke are 26 X 30. It weights a hair over 4lbs. with the recoil starter, flywheel ign., clutch & housing, muffler. nothing trimmed. I doubt if I will do any thing with it. It could probably could be tirmmed down to two to two and a half pounds with EI ign. or gas/glow set up.

good.

RE: small gas engine
I guess Horizon is one Webra dealer in USA but(!) it might be
cheaper (including Shipment and VAT) if you order directly from
www.lindinger.at
and the Link for that Webra is:
http://shop.lindinger.at/product_inf...ducts_id=66345
It is a great and clock-alike service from there already for me the last several
years. Only Tower Hobbies in USA can compete with those guys.

RE: small gas engine
Well, it is a Racing Engine and thus expensive. In fact we have just had a discussion on other forums and we came to some
kind of conclusion that the Price of Fuel is what sets the Decision Point, to go or not to Gas. For me Gas makes sense for
displacements in the range of at least 50cc and better at 80cc because I use only Methanol and Castor oil and mix the
fuel myslef. For ready made fuel & frequent flyiers the people find 26cc is the point where one should pay the cost of
the Gas related ignition and other things(problems!). Thus, following what you mention, the Cost, I believe Gas is not
your friend at those small displacements anyway. In fact Webra had 10cc Gas engine but it somehow was without
customers. Beside the Ignition, Valbro Carb is not cheap nor light either...
Some guys also try to use gasoline on glow-plug engies ... I tried that some 30 years ago when I was at their age
and the result was good for the circus ... Flames, Explosions and broken engine at the end ...
Well, maybe Ethanol when established as fuel would bring a "third" dimension on this topic.
