ok i got my maximum bx fired up after sitting in the closet for 2+ years.
now to tuning, which i never figured out, heres situation.
bogs down on fast acceleration.
bogs at high rpms(cant get full throttle)
wheels spin when off the ground.
one day ill figure out carb tuning

It sounds like the high end needle is set a little too rich.
If your engine isn't running too hot (over 250 degrees), slowly turn the high speed needle in (about a sixteenth of a turn at a time). This should improve your acceleration and top end.
If it is running too hot, please let me know.

hello? is there anyone in there?
well in another topic i talked about my crappy mip onboard so as of right now i cant test temp.
after running a tank i used my visine bottle full of water to do a droplet test and it didnt burn off until 5+ seconds so i think its ok on temp.
so leaning the high speed should do it?
what about the wheels spinning when i pick it up? idle or clutch?

When you pick up the car, and the tires turn, my guess is that its your carb setting. Make sure the opening for the air is about 1mm. Thats my GUESS, i would think that the more air is causing the clutch to go (just like if you were opening the throttle) Try turning the mixture needle to make the gap smaller.

I think the correct term for the needle im referring to is the Idle Set screw, generally the small black screw ontop of the carb. I can't remember which way to turn. With the car not running, open and close the throttle while slowly turning the needle one direction, sorta guess and check which way to turn.
PS: Make sure the servo trim is turned down/off, so its not causing the carb to open slightly.

To lower your engine's idle, turn the idle set screw counter-clockwise.
If your tires are still turning once you have your idle set properly, it's most likely your clutch spring (and / or clutch shoes).
