Tires question
I was playing with my son this morning, and he was driving around a new general lee scale 1:10 rc. It had a fully charged battery and it just had so much umph it could not drive correctly on a wood floor it just peeled out and spun. Which is fun an all, but it seems like the tires just don't grip to wood like I would have thought. How hard is it to change the tires on a plain jain rc like this so it can be used on floors like that. I even tried to drive it and while I could manage it was really difficult to keep it from sliding around.

RE: Tires question
I'm assuming you're referring to the walmart car you mentioned in another thread. If that's the case then it's very unlikely you'll find any wheels/tires that will fit it.

Throw it away and get a hobby grade.
Throw it away and get a hobby grade.
How about.. no.
It was a birthday present from his grandma and he loves it, just has some hard time playing with it on the wood floors.
Also, the problem is fixed, the rubber bands worked like a charm

Oh please are you 13 or something? I didn't come on here asking some unreal expectation from a basic car, just a simple fix or if there are interchangeable tires for normal rc cars, and your insightful and brilliant input of throw it away and get a hobby grade was so helpful amirite?!?!

You could just find a way to put the body on a TT01.

I was thinking of this too in the back of my mind hehe. The body is already getting tore up from the normal wear and tear he and I (haha) have put it through.

With the rubber band idea, kind of expanding on that, then you can take off the rubber bands when you want to drift! Fun fun fun. Maybe set up some cones on the floor. I dunno, just kinda rambling ideas to make it interesting for your son.
