Default RE: My Easy Vee official build

Ok heres a few pics. They are late but I have had a few issues I ran into with the radio box so I built a new one. I must say I was very impressed by the hour and 5 minutes I put on its first run.

Also, I have purchased a new flex cable system that WHH has just started making. They have a machine that now makes custom length duel square end cables so you no longer need to solder. They have the flex shaft with a square ferrul and the other end is square to meet your collet at your engine. Nice new thing they have going on. Check them out.

Next time you see this boat, it will be in video with a hatch and it will be orange. I decided to change the color and the paint job got all screwed up from some gas spillage on the deck =/ lol

Looks good. Well done on completing your first boat.

You will now be brimming with knowledge and confidence to tackle the next one.

It's how the addiction starts!!

Enjoy.

Thanks for the kind words! Yeah the back of the lake is full of branches sticking up, but the front of the lake is totally clear of debris and such and is about as wide as 2 football fields. Not a bad place. I am looking for some locals to go have some fun with, hopefully I will meet a few here. I know someone said they were from Lakeland. Anyhow, I will wet sand this beast when I get back from my cruise at the end of the month.

you say you had paint issues due to gas spilage what paint did you use?,try tetrosyl car spray in rattle cans ints great and 100% gas proof .also for primer get some filler primer in rattle cans it fills any pinnholes or blemishes really well and creates a great base for the top coat.then use clearcoat same make as the paint to protect from scratches from those twigs lol.oh yea congrats on the first outing she looks good.
