Completed 40% Carden Extra
Thanks for the compliments, guys. It has been a great build. The fit and finish of this kit was just super, and I was lucky enough to have some help from one of Carden's recommended builders, Terry Boston (he lives pretty close to me). The weekend weather is not looking good, so the maiden is still a few days away, I'm afraid.
Hubb, yeah, I had lots of free time this winter, but I'm paying for it now. The basement is now under construction for the new wife's office.
Keith, lets see some pictures of the new EDGE!!
Toby, I'm ready to get some practice in whenever you are.
And shortman, I have no idea what it weighs. I'd bet that with the cans it must be approaching 41 or 42 pounds. I do have a light spinner and prop, so I might be overestimating a bit. Not even sure where I could weigh it. Any ideas?
Thanks again guys. Can't wait to see it fly.
