Tom, we're just having a little fun. Sorry if it seemed like we ganging up on you. I really do appreciate you helping me out with this, especially considering how tough these things are to find! I'll give you a call tomorrow. Thanks.

The store i just bought my very first one ,two weeks ago , had 11 of them. I made a down payment on it , and they held it. The following week when i went in there , they had 4 left , but i am sure they are gone now.

My local tower hobbies has 2 left after I bought mine there. Cost $419, but he threw in glue for tires and fuel bottle, not much I know but I also didnt pay shipping, and he actually has them in stock.
Several brand new ones on ebay but pricy, some ok deals on slightly used T-Maxx 2.5
got to this section in ebay
Home > All Categories > Toys & Hobbies > Radio Control > Cars > Cars > Gas Powered
and type t maxx no hyphen in search.

If this is true, then they have been available for some time now whereas they aren't brand spanking new to the market anymore. So why is Traxxas having difficulty keeping the retailers supplied? Has this happened before since the release of the new T-Maxx? You'd think by now Traxxas would be able to gage demand and they'd be able to keep up on the supply end. This ridiculous. Kind of makes me wonder if this isn't some type of marketing ploy on the part of Traxxas to drive up the price.
