Default Mugen Big Bore Buggy Shocks

Any advice on where to get them? I've searched several sites and can't find them listed anywhere.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Good question, I dont know. I dont think so.

I think nitrohouse is a good place. Mugen recommended them when I called for parts.

heres Mugen's Number if you need anything:
1-949-707-5607
Remember its Pacific Standard Time!!!

Hope that helps!

I dont think the big-bore shocks were always on the MBX neoracer. Just at the end on the XR-Works is where they were stock. The parts manual shows the BIG-BORE shocks, and alot of other parts for the MugenMBX-XR Works, as being optional for the RR model, and standard on the XR. Theres even a few part numbers if you look close that have "optional" for the XR. The only ones I have spotted so far was a SUPER thick set of front/rear drivlines (dogbones) they look twice the thickness of the XR type...if anyone has the manual look through and you'll see what I am talking about. Yes, Mugen does recommend NITROHOUSE exclusively for USA distribution....

RAM, have you seen the new MBX-5?

Yeah looks like they have totally redesigned it!!

The dude at my LHS was like "you must be pissed, you just bought that!". But, I knew about the 5 when I bought the 4. I didnt wanna wait for the 5, and heck the key factor: the price was right!! It was either this or the overpriced kanai2

MBX5 vs Kanai2 what do you think?!

FYI..

Just talked to someone at Nitrohouse. Apparently, the big bore shocks were optional and thats what it shows on the parts list that I have.

Part No.'s C0580, C0581 are big bore and he recommended C0592, C0595 (light blue springs).

Rem- too bad none of the parts on MBX5 will be compatible with our 4's. I can't too see a shootout between the 5 and Kanai2.

Todd, All pictures in magazines and Mugen's site are CAD drawings. Haven't seen any actual photos yet. Hopefully soon since the buggy is due out next month sometime.
