Upgrading from Thunder tiger to ?????
Hi people .
I currently own a very battered and bruised Thunder Tiger Twister 1/10 that i am looking to upgrade.
I am NOT a serious racer , but i am looking for a more powerfull unit , not sure what to go for , but waht ever it is must be able to accomodate my current (standard) servos and radio gear.
It doesnt have to be a thunder tiger , and i would prefer an offroad / buggy style , it also has to be available (and the parts) in the Uk ....... Hope this isnt too much info , but if anyone has any good recommendations plz let me know , obviously cheaper the better

1/8 scale isn't necessarily more expensive for backyard bashing. There are some excellent entry level 1/8 scale buggies from GS Racing, Hong Nor, HoBao, Kyosho, etc. that are only mildly more expensive than 1/10 scale (with greater fun factor).
In 1/10 scale nitro 4wd off-road, there's the kyosho inferno TR15 (I have a few of them), HPI super nitro rally (have one of them also), HPI nitro MT, etc.
There's also a host of 1/10 and 1/8 scale monster trucks.
I'd recommend looking at the Kyosho MP7.5 sports, GS Racing Storm RTR, and the other RTR 1/8 scale buggies to see if they fit in your budget.
Good luck.
