ZDZ Header Length help.

ZDZ Header Length help.
Two Qestions:
I've got a ZDZ100ng and I've got a couple steel headers from RCS. The headers measure about 7 3/4inches and I use them with JMB cans. I was looking at flex headers from KS, manufactured especially for the ZDZ100ng, and it appears they are a good bit longer. Someone was saying that a longer header would negatively affect the JMB. IS THAT CORRECT?
Maybe someone could upload the picture from KS. I tried but couldn't do it.[&o]
