ECU + RX Combo
How come I never see anyone using those combo ECU RX things? I mean, they seem convenient for cramped chassis. Is there something wrong with them?

RE: ECU + RX Combo
many vehicles do use combo units
especially where weight and/or size are important - like in mini helis and micro (1/24, 1/32) land vehicles
the down sides are versatility - the combos are not nearly as versatile as separate units
and, replacement cost - the combos are more expensive to replace because everything must be replaced - even if only one part or the other of it fail
