Motor Advise
Hopefully someone can help me. I would like to know if anyone can tell me a good brushless upgrade motor for the honeybee king II. Please help me out. Also would like to know a good speed control to.

Most people are running a 25 amp esky speed controler.
3100kv, pretty close to stock power, needs not mods to fit
3800kv most power. have to mod the frame abit for a good fit
3900kv second in power, no mod needed depending on what pinion you use.
If you go for the align pinion you will have to carve out the pinion hole in the heli for the set screw part to fit through.
Also if you go with a 3800 or 3900 the head speed when using a 11t pinion is to much for the stock wood blades and will cause the covering on them to blow off in flight.
Esky Brushless motors use a 2.3mm pinion
Now that you are armed with information pm, Betapilot here on this board and see if he can set you up with something.
