can someone tell me how to get my hobbywind:sidewinder up and running? or do i have to get the shop to do it? plzzz reply all help is appreciated.

its a 18cxp glow engine 4wd

Can you please specify what's wrong?

Assuming the engine doesn't start:

1- Close the high speed needle valve gently until it seats, then tunr it out 2 full turns. Do the same to the low speed needle (usually it's the screw inside the accelerator linkage on the carb). This should get you some close settings for a first run.
2- When the engine fires, unscrew the high speed needle 1 turn out. Run the car on this setting for one full tank, with careful revving up. It will be sluggish, but the engine needs to break-in.
3- After each tank of fuel turn the high speed needle one quarter turn in.

This should help you out for the first runs of the car.

thnx but what if ive already run 4 tanks of fuel through it and the screws have been messed around with?

Unscrew the two needles 2 full turns from seated and work your way from those settings

Is it not turning over? Is it turning over but not firing? Did you test your glow plug ignitor and glow plug to make sure you're getting a nice hot coil? Is the engine getting fuel? Are there any leaks in your fuel line? Is the tank stopper on tight? How many tanks have you run through this particular engine? Is the muffler on tight? What changed from the last time you ran it until the first time it wouldn't run?

ok it starts but as soon as i unclick the glowplug it stops

Replace the plug.
Running in a new engine will usually burn out the first plug.
