Screws on frame of trex se v2
specifically the hex head screws where the tail boom is put into the frame, I cant seem to get them loose with out starting to strip the heads out. Any ideas? I need to get them at least loose to get the tail boom in easier!

is bec. of a threadlock? if it is then try to apply heat on the screw i.e. hair dryer or the tip of the soldering gun to melt the glue...

WHOA!!!!!!!!!!!! if the screws are in plastic, too much heat, IE: a soldering iron will wipe out the screw holes. As a gun smith, when a screw would not move and we did not want to put heat on it, I placed a punch in the head & tapped it with a hammer. Just a little movement will break the hold of an adhesive used to lock the screw in place. Where everything was metal & damage would not happen, a soldering iron worked fine. I am not sure about a hair dryer around plastic. Things might melt before the screw & adhesive got hot enough.

Thinking about the screws on my Trex 600, (its out in the shop so I can't see it at the moment). The screws go thru the Taiul boom box and are held in place by nylon locknuts. Heat will ruin the nuts. Perhaps you need more leverage to push the driver into the screw while turning it. I would turn the Heli on its side (Have someone hold it to clear the flybar etc) and place a block of wood on a table under the problem screws and really lean on your screwdriver while turning it. The driver must be held in place by brute force. That should do it.
