Batteries ??????? for racing

Default Batteries ??????? for racing

i plan on goind to the local track and racing my electric rc car (xxcr) do u think some 3300/3000mah bateries will be ok for the job

I would go for a 3700 or more mah fore most racing events.

Does your track run 5 minutes for stock class or 6 minutes? If they run for 5 and the batteries are in good condition you should be okay. If they run six minutes you may really find youself being beat towards the end of the race. Also you are going to have to run a more conservative gearing for run time.
Edit: I remember the days of running 2000's for five minute races with no problems.
