Anyone know if the E-Savage Baja body will fit on a Savage X? Do the body post holes line up etc? I don't mind making some mods... just don't want to butcher it up to make it fit!

you might have to rais the rear mounts and thats about it

The only baja body I seen for the Savage is made by proline. But you should be able make it fit. If it's new, you can just put in your own holes where they need to be or if it's used just make a modified body post or adapter. I made some body post extensions out of a 5/16 nut welded to the head of a 5/16 bolt. If you drill out the threads of the nut to 9/36" it screws on tight to the stock plastic posts. Then I just drilled a hole in the nut for a pin to lock it on. I'll take a pic of it in a few minutes.

I took off one of the washers to show it better. I'm gonna throw on some foam washers to help save the body. I needed to raise it higher than the stock posts to clear my rollcage. (Damn design flaws!!)

Got it off e-bay for $15.50... so I'll see how it looks and fits when it arrives!!

you're right, the baja body from the e sav would look really small

Yup... it's 1/10 scale... but I've seen other 1/10 scale bodies looking okay on them and it looks cool...

I'll post up photos when it's here and mounted...

Isn't the stock Savage 25 body a 1/10 scale? It sure looks it because the wheels don't line up with the wheel wells. So if that's the case than the E Savage baja body should be the same.

So I got the Baja TT body the other day... looks cool!! I have to get my rear high mount body bracket (in my box of stuff) and make everything fit and I'll post a pic. Yes it looks smaller on the truck... but I think that's part of the cool look!! I'm going for the low front end and higher back end!!
