I'd go with the Rustler VXL actually, EVX-2s seem to be dropping dead like flies. Way to go Traxxas - just had to rush it out the door.

There is a lot of problems with that new esc. I sure Traxxas will work the bugs out eventually.

From what I hear, the Stampede VXL is a wicked machine.

I have the new emaxx and love it. I havnt had a problem with the esc at all. The only reason it seems like all the escs are dying is because the people that have the problem post about it, you dont see people post about their working escs.

did u know dodge did the same thing as traxxas, the chalenger is built on the charger frame, charger interior, charger motor (in some models i here) the only difference is body panels, also the charger for the first year is only an auto, who wants 450 horses when u cant shift urself. so its not just traxxas rushing things out the door, our real vehicles are treated the same.

lol then your post is pointless and off topic, this thread is asking which truck you think is better; the emaxx evx2 or rusty vxl, just putting that out there

Traxxas support is second to none so you know they'll take care of you if things go pear shaped

... No? I haven't owned the Emaxx but I own the Rustler and I'm not the biggest fan of it. It's fast and all but it's not all that great. The Emaxx would at least go over things better than the Rustler.

well you know what can solve the "rustler going over more things" problem? putting bigger tires on it like proline masher 2ks or moabs, i did that to mine and it is great it goes over almost anything, then your rusty can be fast and onroad/offroad

How'd you convert your Rustler to 4wd? I may end up keeping mine if there's a way to do that... [8D]
