http://www.robart.com/kits/images/P38.html
at Robart's web page.
If not, perhaps this one at G&L
http://www.glhobbies.com/P38%20LIGHT/1_6P38.htm
or the Yellow Aircraft P38
http://www.yellowaircraft.com/prop/p-38/p38.htm
Or the GP item, which is somewhat smaller

Good luck!

RE: HELP,,,Looking for Large P-38 Kits
Thanks for the help Dave.......I was asleep when the help call came.
Here is a post I did earlier.
P-38 lover?......my kind of guy!!!!
You want composite type kit?
Besides above, the only other ones that fit that bill that I know of are Robart at http://www.robart.com/kits/images/index.htm and Yellow aircraft at http://www.yellowaircraft.com/prop/index.htm.
For built up kits that you can build or customize, here are two more.
G&L Hobbies at http://www.glhobbies.com/P38%20LIGHT/1_6P38.htm
or get the VQ as a non covered version at http://www.vqmodelaircraft.com/
There is another kit at G&P Sales at http://www.rcairplane.net/
Aero Tech in the UK makes a "Quick Build" with much plastic at http://www.atimanufacturing.co.uk/
American Eagle at http://www.flyrcmodels.com/
I would also suggest that you go to the associated site for RCU at www.rcwarbirds.com There is a whole section on just the P-38's.
Good Luck,
Twinman
PS Did I miss one? Yes, Wing Mfg at http://www.wingmfg.com/
opps one more.... http://vicrc.com/P38-Lightning.htm
PPS Currently own two out of five total have owned. Got it bad.......I need a life!!!
Sorry if that is not enough.......is my best shot.
Ok go to the warbirds section an the post starting with http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_66..._1/key_/tm.htm
Good Luck,
Twinman
PS You have to send picture of the completed model for this service to rcu and rcwarbirds.com

RE: HELP,,,Looking for Large P-38 Kits
Guys:
The Robart P-38 is (was) a nice kit, but is no longer made or sold by Robart.
There are a few floating around out there privately owned. I just picked one up on RCU Market, but there were some pieces missing, which will make it more work for me.
It is built to Ziroli plans (115" WS), with a uni-body center section, booms and pod and a nice little variant on cowl and firewall construction that makes it easier to install and access the engines.
Good Luck,
mt
