No Heat Solvent for Ultracote?
Does anyone know of a no heat solvent (like Monokotes TrimSolvent) that will work in Ultracote. Maybe there is just a good no heat technique that would work for me.

No Heat Solvent for Ultracote?
As far as I know, there isn't.
Are you trying to put on trim?
What I do is to spray the area with windex or soapy water, lay down the trim piece and use a credit card to squeegee the trapped water out (and the bubbles).
Let dry overnight and then go back and iron it down at 225 degrees F just to be sure.
It's not perfect, but it works.

No Heat Solvent for Ultracote?
Are you using a temperature controlled iron? One you can vary?
Ultracote seams need to be tacked at 225 degrees F. If you are using much higher heat, they won't stay down properly, the pieces will slide and settle on their own when the temp goes below that.
If you don't have a temperature adjustable iron, put a layer or two of sock or handkerchief around it to lower the temp.
If you've already tried all that....CA may be called for.
Any other suggestions from you experienced coveriers?

Top Flite Trim Solvent on Ultracote
I just tested the Top Flite Trim Solvent on some scrap Ultracote today, it works fine. It cleans up nice. The bottle says "Trim Solvent is designed to be used to apply MonoKote over MonoKote and most other heat-activated film coverings."
I believe this was previously sold as "No Heat."
