Default Gas Fuel Tank Wrapped in Rubber Foam

I am setting up my first gasoline engine. Does the fuel tank need to be wrapped in rubber foam so the gasoline does not foam from vibration like glow fuels? My gasoline powered yard trimmer does not foam or least from what I can see.

I don't think gas foams as bad as glow fuel but I still set it on foam.

No, you don't need foam. Unless you need to protect the tank from wear, but fuel foaming, is not a problem.

Don't forget, you can also place your tank where you want it. You don't have to have it crammed all the way up front like glow.
If possible I always put mine over the CG.
