Default Top Flite Giant P 47 - Flaps Question

I think I may feel pretty dumb after I get the answer, but I'll ask anyway.

The flaps have a horn "embedded" that sticks into the inside of the wing. It seems to me that it will be very difficult to hook up the control rod from the servo to the clevis/horn. You cannot get an accurate measurement with the flap servo out of the wing. I just don't see how you can hook it up and get accurate measurements, let alone hook the rod to the servo and then mount the servo.

Please tell me I'm missing something here.

Usually, one would make a large-enough access panel that would allow you to make such measurements. How else will you make adjustments?

Thanks fo the reply. I have made the access panel the same size as the plans show. I'll see when I finish it up. thanks.
