Thank you Tony. Yes I think it can be ready for the water soon, All it will take is for you to bring your

Just out of curiosity...How much would you pay for a FIBERGLASS hull about this size, with a taller, slightly rounded deck, and totally enclosed hatch?

There is a build thread going on now....."50 inch Mono hull fiberglass plug build" The plug has just been started and the bottom hull should be ready to mold in about a week or so. The top will have a hatch most likely molded after the Rio 51, with a few changes so it's not an exact replica.

I have got some more pics of the build to post, I put 3 or 4 coats of clear coat, and wet sanded it all with 2000 grit and used some polishing compound on it, not perfect but it will do. I also made a radio box out of acrylic sheet, not perfect but it will also the job.

Thank you Dreamin Hemi.
I am not sure yet on how I am going to fasten the canopy, the front I think I am going to use dowel rod.

use a lip on the front of the cowl or dowel as you say then pushdown cowl locks like these at the back.
