SV-26 From H.C. Review
Well heres the first look I will mount it up and run it this weekend and let you know the stat's.
First note the muffler color is not as advertised and also the grinding on the out side of the muffler where the bolts pass through.

Could you tell me what the distance is between the prop hub driver and the attachment bolts that hold the carb onto the engine? Also what is the actual weight for the engine including ignition module, spark plug, stock muffler and engine standoffs?
thanks

Well I got it mounted up on an old field box of mine now so I will get the weight and measurments as soon as I run it in a bit. The firewall mount bolts are kind of short but should work with most 120 size or 26cc planes. I checked the igniton module and it fired on a 4.8Volt 900Mah battery that had only 3.9Volts charge. The case to the ignition module feels cheap (plastic box) I dont think it would survive any "mishap". Here are some pictures I took tonight, I will go ahead and run her tomorrow at work and report back.

What size or which prop are you going to use for breaking in ? Also, what mixture will you be using? It would be great to have your feedback as I have just got mine from Hobbycity.

Mines GRPro SV LSPro JEn 26cc Runs Really Well getting better all the time make sure you check timing about 28o to 30o BTDC easy to check get it at TDC and there is 2 marks on the Hub one is on the pickup magnet the other is 28o line the pick up centre line on that mark or as close as and you will have no problems at all 18x6 Fitted ensure your mounts are square and firm .

I have my SV-26 mounted to a CG Stinston station Wagon and it fly's great. I had to do some work to get the engine to run well. The timing was to far advanced so I retarted it some and I made a choke for the carb so it would be easier to start on those cold mornings. My Stinson Station Wagon weigh's 12lbs and she fly's great. Here is a short video of the SV-26 and Stinson in flight.

Well ran the engine yesterday and it was perfect, Primed it and hand flipped it a single time and started right away. After I pick my jaw back up off the flow I only have to adjust the high speed needle alittle more lean then backde it off a bit for break in. Got it all set up and running like a purring kitten in about 3 minutes.
