Default Airplane engines

Can you put a pull start on an airplane zenoah engine? Or do you have to change he crank shaft?

Not sure about the smaller ones but I have a few 62cc Zenoahs (plane motors) that have been converted to run a pull start.
Unless you already have the motor I would stick with buying a boat motor though if you intend on running in a boat.

Speedmaster ( www.rossisales.com ) makes a starting pulley that you can put on the output shaft so that you can use a hand-held electric starter. That might save you a lot of hassle.

Dont think one will fit but i could be wrong, how come you have airplane engine and no starter?.Why not sell it and buy a marine version [)].Also the pull start will cost more than the pulley and you can pick up the electric starters cheap on ebay.
