pulled my new rio out of the box today and was checking everything over and noticed that the shaft was slightly bent. there is a nick in the threads like it was damaged in the factory. hopefully towerhobbies will send me a new one. ill find out tomorrow as the told me to call back sunday.

its hard to see unless the shaft is spinning. its only bent a couple of mm. there is no page 3 in my manual. so hopefully they did not stop the warranty.

well i pulled it out and found the bend is at the beginning of the flat spot for the drive dog.
