roll cage or no? if not how to protect from roll overs.
i put a roll cage on the revo when i first got it, thank i was a nooby and needed it to protect my investment, but i ran it the other day with out and it seemed much faster, so i would like to run it with out, my question is, is there something else i can do or use to protect from rollovers, besides the obvious, and be a better driver?

RE: roll cage or no? if not how to protect from roll overs.
Traxxas wing mount and a wing. Proline wings are great. I have had bad luck with roll cages, adds weight = slower, not as good handling due to higher center of gravity, harder to work on, transmits the impact energy to the areas that the cage attaches which may accutally be a very bad spot and can potentially create higher levels of impact force due to no plastic body or plastic parts to adsorb the impact first. I am sure some people with alum. cages have had some success, but for the revo the wing is the most popular way to prevent engine head/mount damage.
