Default RCMK R254/RX engine

Hi there

Did anyone have the running experience for RCMK R254 and RX engine? How about the performance and durability?
Thanks!

You might want to try the search at the bottom of the page. Type in RCMK and you'll find 3 pages worth of postings on it. There does appear to be a problem with it shearing the key for the flywheel from doing a quick glance at the postings.

RCMK sell a kit to upgrade a stock zen to a rear exhaust port engine. AMBC is the aussie importer & if you go to his site, the kit is under engines, for $630 (just the kit) it's not cheap though. I know they run them at our local races.

i,m not sure if you understood me .
you only change the head .the difference is the external features ,also raised exhaust ,inlet bigger .i,m thinking that this unit is a chinese repro and not original rcmk .the most fishy is the bore as it,s abit hmm not smooth or chromed .and the price.
