Here's a video I made while the engine was still running a bit rich and the 2-speed was shifting almost instantly due to the higher gearing.

Here's a better video I made while I was still running a Picco .26 max and a THS racing pipe. I was a little optimistic with my speed estimate. It was probably hitting about 50mph with 20/34 gearing.

Didn't you sell that truck on ebay?

No, just the Picco .26 maxx engine and THS pipe. I sold them as a combo.

Its your choice SB13 either way your going to have a sweet truck. Revo dont break.... The owners break them. If you careful you can go a season without buying nothing but fuel. But if you like to tread on thin ice I could cost 40 oir 50 bucks a weekend. Just my 2cents.
I could'nt agree with you more. I'll leave the tranny alone and see how it goes but I do not by any means take it easy on my trucks. They're there to run as hard as you can and get crazy with them and thats the way I like to do it.

I'm going to using the THS header and pipe on my Picco Red Dot too. Can you tell me how you felt about that combo? Was it a good one? I want a rear mounted pipe like I have but I don't want to use the THS if many others think it's not the ticket. Does the THS really allow the Picco to breath and perform the way it is known to?

I wanted to keep the rear exhaust also, so that's what I'm using with my Red Dot is the THS pipe, I can't imagine this thing being any more powerful.

Thanks for the reply, it looks like I'm in good shape. Thats been on my mind and I really just wanted to again confirm that it's a good choice.

To get the full potential out of ANY big block on the revo, a side pipe is a MUST. Ask anyone who has ran a side pipe and rear on a BB revo and they will tel you the same.

The THS pipe works well with the Picco .26 maxx. I never felt like I needed any more power out of the Picco, that's for sure. The stock pipe definitely does not cut it with the Picco. It's far too restrictive.

When I got the THS for my 26 maxx..... is was like night and day compared to the stock blue pipe. You'll be happy with the THS if you get it. You can always get a side pipe when you want more power.
