RE: 70" Expresscraft Apache
I have an apache. Has been a number of years since it was powered. I originally built it with a very tight budget (last wife) with twin 42cc Chainsaw motors. It was heavy and heavy. Ran ok but ran better when I removed one of the motors and had her as a single.
She has very square lines - like it was built using a sheet of ply and a ruler. But the shape grew on me pretty quick. It is quite a narrow hull for its length and light for its size too. It would perform well with anything from a stock zenoah up. While you could mount motors side by side it might be better to stagger them to lower your weight. It has a large cowl and makes working a breeze.
