is the CF chassis as strong or stronger that a stock revo 3.3 chassis. i can get one for $60 and was wondering if it is a upgrade or a down grade. i mostly bash bye the way.

If you bash it is not as strong. It is stiffer than the original chassis but it has no flex so therefore it cracks easily. Where can you get one for $60 out of curiosity?

I like mine , it has taken some pretty huge hits and hasnt cracked yet .

Its not stronger at all. It lighter though. If you bash it wont last long. I have one but it for drag racing. When I go out bashing the blue chassis comes back on.

Unless your drag racing i would not get it. Or you doing pavement racing.

dont worry 2 much the vantage is good quality i have hit curbs and parking blocks at a fast clip with my vantage revo chassis and have not snapped ,i did snap a leser quality cf chassis on a xxxnt but i was going close to 60 and had aluminum arms witch acted like a lever when i hit the curb if i had nylon arms it would have not snapped .

All chassis will break, bend or twist if subjected to unusual abuse. Like crashing at high rates of speed. I just comes down to do you want to spend $20 or $100 for a new chassis. To each his own. If you like the CF Chassis get it. The worst thing that could happen is it breaks and your out of $100.
