Default Mamba Maxx 5700

I received a Mamba Max 5700 motorESC combo for my RC10 TC4 touring car. Its all stock, just the regular version of the car not the one with real carbon fiber parts. What pinion and spur gear works/worked best for you? I am using a 6 cell nimh 3900 Rocket pack. Is there anything else I should know? Thank you.

that seems very expensive for a bodyset! even this finished body is cheaper, although with shipping it would be a similar price..#

Anything from HK is going to cost less than from a US vender. With shipping it would be about the same or more though.
