RE: tt-01 VS. e-10
the TT-01 is a very reliable rc car, you can change practically anything, e.g. The wheel style, suspension, shafts, bearings, RC SYSTEM TYPES, tyres and have more choices on body shapes/colour also it can be purchased with or without HOP-UPs although some of them dont include RC SYSTEMS. The TT-01 is still very affordable and upgradable, penultimatly it is a very nice RC car and can be controlled with either a stick type controller or a gun type controller, further more it has many more hop ups then the E10 and the hop ups are easy to buy. . . ive recently purchased a full tamiya RC KIT for £121. plus around £10 for paints etc... i personally would go with the TT-01... Sorry if you had your heart set on the E10.

RE: tt-01 VS. e-10
yea, well the e10 seems to be better for what i had in mind, which is just drifting and racing around in my neighborhood.
if i can find the tt01 for the same price i will take it, but i dont think its happening.

RE: tt-01 VS. e-10
I would choose TT-01
Reasons:
-Lots of parts available almost any where! Tons of them on eBay.(Trust me, you will want to upgrade almost any stock cars)
-Lots of information on the car! The official TT-01 threads here has over 100 pages.
-I believe almost every LHS has parts for the TT-01 chassis if you don't want to wait for shipping.
-Very simple setup! Any problems can be easily fixed easily.
-Comes with a very detailed documentation.
-Lots of bodies available
So you want to drift:
-Get a set of drift tires(or you can make your own)
-Lock the back differentials(Can be done within 10 minutes with hot glue, can be easily unlocked if you wish to race)
-Get a faster motor. The stock speed controller is very touch and even though it says it can only support up to 23T motor, I see people dropping in a 17T or even 15T.
So you want to race:
-Get a fast motor
-Gear it up
-It can be very fast too!
-If you have $$, consider brushless! they are crazy fast if you do it properly.
But the most important thing is parts availability and the simple setup of the TT-01 Chassis.
If you want to take the challenge, get a kit and build it yourself. It can be done very fast!
I think that's enough reasons. Also, I don't think that they are too expensive since it's an entry level chassis.

good arguments. i will see if i can find it.
i heard that the e10 doesnt require locking the back diff. what does that do anyway?
