Default Contacting HPI

First time you contact them it takes 2 to 4 days to get a response....
they send you parts for warranty.....

then i bought 3 other HPI CAR brand new... i ask them for parts and that i have a problem with one of my g3.0 motor that is still under warranty

they don't reply at all....

is it because it's christmas time?.... and they can't reach both ends?

if i remember correctly i contacted them 3 times , and that was way before christmas.

Is that 'NORMAL procedure from HPI?'
or they think you just want Free parts & ignore you?

Never tried to call HPI but most of the RC makers are great about helping and supplying replacement parts. I have personal experience with Traxxas, Losi, Dynamite, Duratrax and HobbyZone all with very satisfactory results. I once recieved a complee replacement engine even though the one that failed was purchased of of E-Bay. I also recieved a completely new plane (small electric) just because the rx failed.
Bottom line, give HPI a chance to get through a busy holiday season. After all, Christmas is the time of year when thousands of complete newbs get hobby grade RC's and promptly break them

Yeah, its the new fad! Everyone misspell "teh"!

Nah, it is a very common typing mistake.

When digging through my HPI manual for teh customer service manual so I can find teh ph# for the guy who needed to contact HPI, I saw that even HPI typed "teh" inside the manual!

Try reading my Kyosho manuals. You will have NO idea what they are trying to say.

I read a Mugen manual, one of their really old ones, and teh translation into English was horrible. Trying th understand how to contact the customer services was excruciating.

I just ended up getting the Japanese kid across the street to read it. Spanish also sucked really bad, considering they attempted to use English conventions that didn't exist.
