Starter Boxes
Do starter boxes work well??? I saw a few Ofna ones and was thinking about getting one so i dont have to worry about pulling my pull start out. I have a .28 corsa engine in my CEN Matrix Buggy. Any tips or suggestions are welcome. Also are these boxes able to prime the engine or am i still going to have the prime it by holding my thumb over the muffler and pulling the pull start a couple times.

RE: Starter Boxes
I want to find one that does 1/8 scale for my buggy but also 1/10 scale so that when my and my buddy are cruisin, we can both use it. Would i still have to prime my engine with my pull start if i had this thing?

RE: Starter Boxes
sounds great!!! could I hook these up to my car battery? where we live there are NO tracks what so ever, so we just kinda pull up to a empty field or park and drive, plus i dont really have the money to buy a battery as well.

RE: Starter Boxes
Im thinking about getting this box for my Matrix, [link=http://www.rcplanet.com/Ofna_1_8_Starter_Box_12V_Motor_p/ofn10253.htm]Ofna 10253[/link] Do you think it will be able to crank the engine? And i was thinking, I may have a gel cell battery at my job. I work at firedog and i think we have a PC Battery backup that a customer thought was bad so she left by our bench and bought a new one. We plugged it in and it seems to work fine, I have to check all the power though.
