Roo thrustline
Hi guys,
Ive just installed a PST Jets J600R on my composite roo as per the manual .
On eyeballing the setup the turbine seem to be off the center line pointing towards the left.
Is there some way that I could check this ?
Problem is I can draw a center line on the fuse but getting a centerline reference to match up on the the turbine is difficult.

Mine looked a little off also so this is how I centered mine. I used a flexible tape measure that is used when sewing. I measured from one side of the fuselage (without the rudders attached),over the starting motor of the turbine to the other side fuselage. I took the total length and divided it in half and centered the turbine at that point.
Hope this helps

The wing root sides of the Fuse are square, if you sent the Kangaroo up on your bench, on it's side, with the root held tight against the top, you can measure equal distance from the bench to the centerline of the start motor, and center of the exhaust nozzle to tell if you're straight, you can also put a level or incidence meter on the engine once you've got the fuse on it's side.
