upgrade what you have with brushless, no matter what it is. It will make a big difference then almost any brushed system.

tyvm for that info but what would be the best to upgrade the himoto truggy or my traxxas? i think my traxxas is brushless but not sure how to tell i guess....it has titan 550 twin electric motors with no cooling fins? is that how you tell?

would it be worth getting rid of them both and getting one already upgraded?

your traxxas is brushed, that will cost a pretty penny to upgrade to brushless but I suggest the himoto brushless system, I am very happy with it, works very good, its a nite and day difference, a good battery will bring out the best too, a good lipo.

Birdman......

Twin Titan 550's?
That means you are running the E MAXX.....
Those Motors are Brushed Motors......
If you are going to up grade to BRUSHLESS on THAT Truck,,,,,I would go with a 1/8 Brushless Motor Kit (Novak or Castle)
AND it will COST you a Pretty Penny too.......You are talking close to $500......

The E Maxx is (in Reality) a 1/8 sized truck (even though Traxxas insists on calling it a 1/10 truck
If you put a 1/10 sized brushless system in it,,,,I dont think you will be happy with the performance......( Cuz the E Maxx is Big n Heavy).

If you want to get TOTALLY HAIRBALL,,,,,you might try TWO Himoto 1/10 brushless motors. I'm sure THAT would push the E Maxx along pretty good,,,,If you can figure out how to DO it....

As Far as the Himoto Truggy?
The Himoto Brushless will turn it into a MONSTER!
But you will need a Good Lipo battery to really Tap into the High Performance.....

Speaking from experience, if you do convert your Traxxas into brushless, get ready to go through differentials. My buddy has a E-Maxx and he has Robinson Racing differentials and they still go out. The stock Traxxas differentials wont last a single run.

if you really wanna get nuts and are good with your controller try taking out the center driveshaft and use it as 2wd on your himoto with the brushless. my 1/10 truck in 2wd is insane with the brushless setup. it's also 2wd cause i forgot to loctite the set screw for the front drive cup. oops.
