Default Covering for aerobatic kit/scratch build.

What would be the lightest method of covering for an aerobatic airplane? Film or fiberglass and paint?

Ultra cote is user friendly and has a nice selection of colors.Monokote is OK too.

Ultracote. If you like wrinkles and constant reshrinking go with Monokote.

Really? Used it for close to 20 years, just find it a bit more heavier, but mine stayed well put after.
Maybe its the climate difference too.

Every Monokote plane I have wrinkles and sags MUCH more then Ultracote over the winter. Monokote also tends to wrinkle if its left in the sun. Thats been my experience with it.

My experience is they all wrinkle. The easiest to apply is Ultracote hands down. Two of my giant scale have each Monokote and Ultacote each. Monokote needs alot more heat.
