To tell you the truth, both of those arent very good. I would look into Losi, Associated, HPI, Traxxas, etc. Tamiya's are very good, just thier nitro RTRs seem to not be as good.

IMO buggies don't make very good bashers. They are purpose built for going fast around a track. Not to say you can't bash one, or that you won't have fun. But you might be better off with a truck that has more ground clearance. Also I would suggest getting something that is easy to get parts for.

Id probably go with a nitro truggy instead. But there are alot of people who bash around with buggies.

I just bought a Duratrax Raze ST on tower for $199 - $35 coupon - $15 duratrax rebate + free shipping. Not the best truggy ever, but for $150 shipped after rebate its about as as good a value as you are ever going to find.

With that being said the $35 coupon and free shipping are due to being a tower super saver member and if you arent you wont get those.

This section should be for threads like Virtual RC, Favorite MFG, things like that. Not when there are more specific threads.
