RE: battery question
I usually re-charge the 1100mah A123 packs, after about 6 flights on a .40 size plane. Don't know how much it has taken out from those 6 flights, but that's about all I feel comfortable with.

RE: battery question
2.4 doesn't matter at all. I use them on 72 and 2.4 in every size airplane from a 40 Proyak to a 33% Pitts with a 50cc gasser. I use the Black and Decker VPX packs for making my rx batteries. Or for the larger 2300's, I took apart a Dewalt 36 volt pack and made 5 receiver packs. You can buy them prebuilt but I don't know where. Maybe Google them or wait for some one who has bought them that way.

RE: battery question
6 volt 1800 mah NiMh packs.
With 4 digital servos on a 120 size profile I can have 8 x 10 minute flights and be at half capacity or just below. This is based on the mah taken when recharging.

RE: battery question
I use this one in a 67" Fusion. I have flown it 7 times one day. It still pegged the needle out. Most days are 4-5 flights. I really enjoy the extra torque and speed with the 6v pack.

RE: battery question
Radical RC is also a great source for batteries. Dave Thacker is the man and knows his stuff! Great prices as well.
