diff problems

Default diff problems

i have a team losi stadium truck xxx-nt and i am having problems with the diff gear.the bearings keep melting into the gear.3 gears in 2 days.the last 1 took 5 mins to burn up what is it i am doing wrong.

You need to tighten your diff screw more. You want to get it tight but not elbow grease tight. You might want to get new diff balls and thrust assembly along with Associated sliicone diff grease and Associated black grease for the thrust. Also, you can get the Robinson Racing aluminum diff gear. What engine does it have in it?

i did not change the bearing.but thanks for that.and i tightened it up like the manual said to do.i am running a os .12cr-v motor.it does have small hop ups on it.cab,exaust.it does seem after i put a hot plug in it thats when it started.weather or not that has anything to with i dont know.

you can also try heavier grease like tamiya anti wear grease.
