Well I finally got to run my boat. The deep V shape is so much more locked in on the turns than my shallow hull. It planes well on about the last 3 inches of the bottom and in the light chop today it left the water a few times. The turning circle is good both ways without turn fins and is very predictable, though if you push too hard it does dance a little bit but only when I really push it. I was so excited to get it wet and it didn't dissapoint me at all. Sorry I didn't get vid I was running on my own, I'll get some Saturday when Kyle comes out.
Cheers, Chris

Nice job she looks great on the water and sounds like she went well, look forward to some video Chris. If shes dancing a bit too much in the chop you can add a little weight up front when its rough some guys use a wet towel or even a plastic bottle of water wrapped in bubble wrap just for those days when its rough to keep the nose down a bit.Negative angle on the prop will help too of course.

Thanks guys. Here is the vid, it was calm today and it ran a bit wet, it definetly prefers the chop but it is underpowered with a weedy in it. I guess strakes would help but I'll leave it as is and concentrate on the next one with an RCMK engine in it.
Cheers, Chris

Thanks Mart, he has a ball when we head out. Im not entirely sure he really knows what he is doing with his boat, but he looks like the concentration levels are way up lol. Yeah a bit of chop really does make all the diffefrence.
Cheers mate, Chris
