Extreme 330 in UK or Europe even ?
I asked this a few months ago, and spoke to several companies in the US with no answer....
Anyone know when the Extreme 330 will be available in the UK or Europe ? Hard to believe the TT G200 and Extra are the only profile ARTFs available over here still !
People like flyboone post those pics it just makes me jealous :disappoin

Hey Ditchit,
I believe J. Perkins is the Goldberg distributor for the U.K. Have you tried ringing them ? (01622 854 300). Probably be a waste of time tho (me cynical ??) - they let me down badly w.r.t. a SIG kit so I try to avoid giving them my cash now (a bit like Ripmax LMAO).
All the best,
B.D.

I'll buy one and send it to you, you pay the shipping and plane costs of course, but I wouldn't mind doing that for you!

Nice review of the Extreme 330 just been posted on front of RCUniverse.
Anyone know of a supplier in U.K. or Europe yet ?
Phoned Perkins - Not a supplier for CG.
Phoned Great Planes distributors in the U.S. - Rude and clueless.
Too expensive to ship from U.S. even if someone would do it.

I can understand Gary Wright not importing but I still don't understand why an outstanding model supplied through one of the big companies is not available anywhere in Europe.

Ditchit,
Sorry if that information I gave re. Perkins was incorrect - I was working on the fact that the CG kits are in their catalogue I'm even more convinced of their uselessness after trying to get hold of some GWS/Supertec 'high-spec' servos - it took an e-mail from GWS in Taiwan to get Perkins to reply to my e-mail, and guess what they don't import the servo I wanted !
Yup, yup, yup sometimes being an RC Flyer in the U.K. can be really pants; unavailability, top-whack prices and our weather to mention but a few
BTW from what I can make out you would pay as much (if not more) from a UK distributor as importing it including the shipping. E.g. the SIG Hog Bipe is about £110 ($180) from a UK shop, but Tower sells it for $110 - $70 is a lot of shipping ! You might not make a profit but you'll get what you want.
Just my two penneth worth.

It might be worth giving Hoellein a call to see they can get it for you!

Oops, sorry !
Rorywquin is quite correct; there will be approximately 20% on top of the cost & shipping to cover import duty, VAT and handling.
I'll try and engage me brain first next time
