Default WH Extra 260 87"-best route for antenna?

Just about to maiden my new wildhare, just noticed there is no conduit in the fuse for the receiver antenna like many of the other planes. How about using zip-ties to route the antenna inside the fuse?Any other ideas? Thanks

Default RE: WH Extra 260 87

What's a receiver antenna? I haven't had to route one in almost 3 years since switching to 2.4.

I used to take it out the bottom through a small hole drilled in the center stringer. Glue a piece of ply on top of the stringer before drilling to strengthen it where the hole is.

Then pull the antenna back along the bottom and use a rubber band to hook to teh tailwheel bracket.
