Made me a plane stand today!
Had some wood sitting around so I just plugged the table saw and started cutting!
It still needs wheels and foam for the wings but I'm pretty proud of it. lol
I can't wait to go to Lowe's or Home Depot and finish her up tomorrow. I might varnish it as well to make it look more stunning and fuel proof! =)

Hi SPADinfluence
I suggest you at least study how others have built a stand. I posted my plans at this site if you want to search for it. Mine may last 20 years. Others have fallen apart much sooner. Evolution is how things become great. Our hobby has many dangers. An engine starting safety stand can reduce some of those dangers.

Here's the finish work! Finally got my foam rubber secured and I might put some wheels up front when I find them at a junk yard or yard sale. lol

A few more pics!
The adjustable thingies I just got from Tractor Supply for 9 bucks each on sale! =) They can be moved around to hold anything and can go any direction on the top part.

Looks like it should work great. I "might" put a brace on the 'back leg' for added stability, but, it may be plenty good the way it is.
As long as it works well, and is sturdy and stable, it is good.
Our club has a dozen of the stands that were featured in the AMA magazine.
Someone posted a link to a modified set of these plans, with some modifications.
Wheels on the front legs is a popular thing because it makes it easier to move them for mowing the pit area.
<< edit >> Just noticed...... you are about out of fuel.
