Default Revo Alignment and Picco .26 JL Red Dot problems

I have a Revo 3.3 in which I bought 2 or so years ago. I have now getting back into it again and looking to beat some competition and bash at the same time. I installed the picco .26 jl red dot after having some bad luck with the traxxas 3.3. I have tuned and finally broke in the picco motor but it seems to run hot. I have also the DX3s system in which has telemetry and my LHS has installed. It says it is hitting 270 and then I richen the fuel and it does cool down, but it seems I cant keep full throttle for no more then a couple seconds. Any ideas on my maybe bad tuning technique or any ideas. It is just out of break in. I also bought some Big Joe tires and some evo wheels and I am having a hell of a time aligning this setup. I have rebuilt the front diffs and put 50,000 wgt so they are pretty well posi locked in at all times for good traction. I hope I get some posts back so I can make this truck reach its full potential and im not afraid or your criticism. Thanks!
