XL all the way but I hate that damn 5.9 sell it on ebay before you run it and get a Picco.28 or a LRP.30 for it [sm=shades_smile.gif]

They're all the same? Ya, all 1/1 cars are the same as well...

Maybe you should get the DriverMd from CmnSnsRcng, I've heard that this mod is great.

Choosing Losi over HPI is a very bad idea.

Not if he already has one; and the Losi MTs aren't that bad.

but over all losi is going down the pooper as a company maybe they're going up their past few releases have been decent looking but i'd wish the 10 T was electric and yeahhh idk, if losi starts to phase our the LST setup they'd be making a BIG whoopies, but they're riding for the most part one what Team Losi made and just doing little farty RC's off of the solid chassies, there isn't a whole heck of a lot of new going down at losi HQ... even the 10 T was heavily based of an 8t

i'd go HPI for sure

So what? Does having HPI Savage in my username mean that I have no experience with other brands? Certainly not. I run HPI because Losi trucks break too much, end of story.

I didn't say you don't have experience with other brands. It just made me laugh when I saw your post. it appeared to be VERY biased. Am I wrong?

As interesting as the Losi vs HPI thing is to read, I honestly don't feel HPI is any better then Losi at making MT's... Yes the Losi breaks, but so does the Savage...... I run with both Savages and LST's and honestly they both breakdown all the time..... to say the Savage is tougher and more reliable is absolute hogwash.. Seriously guys they are both MT's and are both prone to failure, one isn't any more reliable then the other IMO...... And anyone who tries to say differently has been drinking a little too much Koolaid....As fact of the matter is unless you do a pile of upgrades to either machine your not going to have a reliable RC....

Now when you talk included electronics Losi wins, and by a big margin...HPI radios are junk !

when talking driving performance the Losi wins, and wins by a huge margin, the LST handles way better then the Savage does..The Savage has to be one of the worst handling trucks on the market...

when comparing engines the Losi wins, the SH engines are much better then the HPI engines....

Now talking durability, they both break...plain and simple they are both prone to failure and need hoppups to make them sound...take any box stock Savage and LSt and you will find they both break the same.... One isn't tougher then the other.....

other then brand loyalty and prejudice I see no reason for all the Losi hate...I honestly much prefer driving a LST then driving a Savage...the LST is a far superior performer and much better to drive....

Many years of running these cars and trucks and None are industructable that is for sure.
I had all the monster trucks back when they first started out and the ones that stuck as being good are still in the memory bank.
Losi LST
Savage 25
MGT the origianal truck with a Mach 26 in it was awesome I pounded the heck outa that truck till the tranny gave out replaced the tranny and sold the truck.
The LST has been with me since 2004 I think and I have not had to replace much to this point so I guess I am lucky.
In thinking about the Monsters of yesterday I had the savage ss and it was just I hated it.
Put the aftermarket head on the .28 and ran that all summer in my Hot Bodies truggy and that engine ran forever till the front bearing went out.
I still have the engine and the head and it has great compression but will not run cause of the junk bearing.
Since all this I settled for the LST and have been bashing it ever since
I would like to have another Savage but I think I will wait and just add that to the fleet rather then sell and re buy again.
thanks for the input guys
