Default Tuning problems/questions again

I got my truck back together now trying to get the tune right. Yesterday I thought I had it tuned about right, but the truck would run good for about 2 or so minutes then just start bogging down really bad at a low speed. If I leaned out the lsn it would idle really really high and wouldn't pass the pinch test. If I leaned out the hsn it would die when I would open full throttle. Last night I richened the lsn up a good bit. Ran really good at a low speed last night, couldn't open it up cause I couldn't see. Well today I got it out and the same problems. Ran good at first then just looses all power. It seems if i lean it out much it's then too lean, little smoke. I'm only turning maybe 1/8 or 1/16 turns too.

20% nitro, not sure of the brand/style of the plug, it is in good shape though.  I believe it is "purple"

I do not have a thermometer, but it's not hot to touch.  Nowhere near 250+ I can tell that.

Do as RCCanuck says and warm it up, tune it, then check for an air leak again.
Once its started does it idle at all ? Can it hold a constant rev, or does it rev up and down, or bog or stall as soon as its required to idle ?

I have set it to factory and it does the same.  Runs good for a minute then just bogs down then eventually dies.  The rev dont really go up and down, but the car does jump a lot... wants to go without me giving it any throttle.  All is on hold now because messing around with it today i ruined the spur gear.  If it aint one thing it's another!!!!

I pretty much had everything apart. I had to replace the rear diff gears, and wait for some new screws and stuff to come in. So I went ahead and tore every piece off the truck and gave it all a good cleaning. It needed it. I opened the tranny to make sure there was no stripped gears in it. BTW... reverse still will not work either. I'm not too worried about that one though.

Finally after much effort and thoughts i'm finaly up and running. Turned out to be a fuel tank problem. The lid wasn't on there tight enough and was letting air in the carb in turn leaning it out and getting hot. Now needs some fine tuning and will be up and going good. Now just have to replace a shock tower!!!
