Default Jet Powered Baja 5B on Richard Hammond's Top Gear Uncovered

Just watched RH Top Gear Uncovered, and half way through he raced a Z4 against a jet powered 5B. Does anyone have any more info on the 5B?

Here's a YouTube video for those of you who haven't seen the DVD.

That's pretty awesome, love the RC's jumping over the plane. I've never seen a turbine strapped to a 5B before, seems like a good match

twin stick radios are popular in Europe and Asia. Several world class drivers use stick radios.

The best R/C driver of all time races with a stick radio. Mr. TEAM YOKOMO.....Masami Hirosaka.
World championships won :
5 in 1/12 modified on-road
3 in 1/10 2wd off-road
4 in 1/10 4wd off-road
2 in 1/10 on-road
all this with a stick radio.

There was a race not too long ago at a local offroad track here and an italian guy that was sponsered by some italian company was using a stick radio. When he first got up on the drivers stand, everyone looked at him like he was from the past. When the race ended, I think most of the drivers went out and got stick radios. He ran 1/8 buggy class and he lapped the 2nd place car. We also have a lot of customers that come into my shop and want stick radios to use on their cars and trucks.
