Default Mudtruck

I want to build a "mudtruck" and waterproof all the electronics. I want to try to spend $500 at the most and it has to be fourwheel drive 1/10-1/8 scale. I would love to put the tamiya f-350 body on it(if there is any [preferably>axial truck] or any other nice rock crawler that this body can fit on let me know and I'll be done with this please).

Thanks in advance!
Brandon

Well, the Tamiya High Lift (Which the f-350 fits) has a 11 inch wheelbase. Axial's scx10 has a 11.4 inch wheelbase, so with little to no modding(depending on how lifted you want it), it should fit.

most definatly. minimal triming may be required to keep the wheels outa the wheel wells, but if you mount it high enough it wont matter any ways lol

Well this is one of the reasons I got the Axial over others, SEALEDBEARINGS! The rest is up to you !

I cant wait to get mine finished and try it out in the swamp behind the house..... got some 2.2 MudSlingers and want it geared for wheel speed to get them a spinning....

thank you for  bringing up another selling point on the axial. i completely forgot that it has sealed bearings. they will virtually never need to be replaced unless you go for something a little faster. so i suppose there isnt much else to say ab out the axial other than its a great capable piece of engineering with alot of really handy features.</p>

im trying to find tractor tires to mount onto my clod axles for my mud rig. Going for scale look. My favorite place to go mudding on the atv has trucks with big narrow tractor tires.

Default RE: Mudtruck

imo if you want a mud truck get a wheelykind ARTR
https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/c...ns&pn=HPI10836
35t motor- enough torque for what you need- http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXLYV2&P=7
get a xl-5 esc, and your choice of radio/rx.
get your own tires..

it is the best way for a mud truck

if you look at REAL california mud trucks, they sit up REAL high, and have tractor ag tires..
