Default Traxxas beating the issue?

I was into RC a while back (hey to some of you that remember me!) and I have no RC cars, The Losi Ten-T has really got my eye. Now for the issue that I've been seeing lately. I remember when the Revo came out and everyone loved the suspension and now more and more of Traxxas's products have that laying down suspension. The area where I draw the line at is the summit. Am I the only one that thinks Traxxas has beaten the horse here?

Can l ask why ?

We have had basicly  virtical suspention on everything for the last 25 years or so , and theres other machines just like the summit except they have virtical suspention so l dont see it as more of the same, but rather an advance on the old design.
You cannot argue that virtical suspention in any way can compare to the revo type horizontal suspention layout, in handling.
The rocker arms on the revo type suspention give it so many advantages of leverage over the old style virtical suspention. It can be tuned better and easier than the old style.
It does have one big disadvantage over the old type, and that is ball joint wear through the rods. More cost.
Virtical type just doesnt have them so they cant wear !

What is really a big $$$ saver with revo type suspention is crashes. You never bend a shock shaft, or snap one, when you smash a wheel off, it saves so much there over the time of its life, its worth the extra on suspention joints.

Ah yeah I forgot about those lol. Trying to get these RC wheels in my head turning again, one thing that really grinded my gears () was how hard it was to work on. The laying down shocks killed my knuckles.
