Default Leading edge landing light

Good morning,

I plan to install an integrated landing light into the leding edge of my Beaver's wing.

That's a RTF kit an I'm still undecided before sawing the leading edge of my wing because I have fear of creating a lack of integrity in the wing structure.

Did anyone ever do that ?
Some pictures would be welcome !

Thank you !

Remove a section of the LE between twi ribs and place a piece of 1/8" ply behind it. You can add spacers between the LE and Ply if necessary
